Hugh Chamberlain Trophy 2017

Rob Kennedy wins the 2017 Hugh Chamberlain Trophy competition. His winning average Stableford score of 34.23 was achieved over a total of 44 outings throughout the year  More results below.

The Hugh Chamberlain Trophy competition is held on an on-going basis throughout the year based on average Stableford scores playing off TT Roll-up handicaps in a minimum of 20 TT Roll-up outings.

A total of 17 players played at least 20 times with the TT Roll-up during 2017.  Of these, eight achieved an average score of more than 32 pts:

Rob Kennedy’s score compares very favourably with 2016 winner, Ian McDougall’s 34.06 (51) and 2015 winner, Peter Clarke’s 35 (21).

Note : Because the TT Roll-up Xmas Lunch, originally scheduled for 10th December 2017, had to be postponed because snow closed the Club, the trophy was only presented to Rob Kennedy in early February, ahead of the rescheduled Xmas Lunch on 4th February which neither Hugh Chamberlain nor Rob himself was able to attend.
