Dorothy (Dot) Temple
was born on 12 January 1901 in Bayswater, London. She was an actress, known for
Softly Softly: Task Force (1969). She died on 24 November 1987 in
Richmond-upon-Thames, Surrey. Her
lifelong love of the theatre was triggered in 1891 by seeing Lillie Langtry
play the title role in Tom Taylor's Lady Clancarty at Cheltenham's New Theatre
and Opera House (now the Everyman).
